Bitcoin to soar to $148,000 after halving - Pantera Capital

A renowned cryptanalyst has cautioned that Bitcoin may reach new lows from the conclusion of 2019.

Eight's founder predicted that the current BTC correction would last between 4-6 weeks.

Justin Bennett, a renowned crypto analyst on social media, has cautioned that Bitcoin could drop to $14,000, which would be a renewal of the lows from the end of last year. He has pointed out that BTC has broken out of the rising channel it had been in for around a decade, and the risks are heightened by the potential of a worldwide economic downturn and declining stock markets.

Pantera Capital predicts that Bitcoin will hit a new all-time high of $148,000 by July 2025, based on historical data from past growth cycles. They believe that the cryptocurrency will reach $35,000 by the halving next April.

Michael van de Poppe, the founder of Eight, has estimated that the current Bitcoin correction will last for four to six weeks. He believes that, prior to the halving, BTC will reach a price of $50,000.

Peter Brandt, a renowned trader and financial markets veteran, has declared that the biggest crypto exchange, Binance, is a "global scam". According to him, "the majority of crypto exchanges and almost all crypto projects will fail". Nevertheless, he is optimistic about Bitcoin.

In 2020, Binance launched the first bank cards that allowed users to use cryptocurrencies. However, the company has now announced that it is ending support for these cards in Latin America and the Middle East, without providing any explanation for the decision.

In September and October, USDC stablecoin from issuer Circle will be available on six new networks: Base, Cosmos (via Noble), NEAR, Optimism, Polkadot and Polygon. This will bring the total number of ecosystems with access to USDC to 15.

Solana Pay, a decentralized payment protocol, has integrated its plugin with the e-commerce platform Shopify. Initially, only USDC stablecoin is accepted as payment.
